Beach Haven Crest 2018 Real Estate Sales slowed down when compared to 2017 by a significant amount. In 2017 there were a total of 33 transactions whereas 2018 saw only 14. This is a significant drop in activity and one that has echoed across other areas of the LBI real estate market. The average price of a single family home was also lower at just over $890,000 compared to $1,100,000 in 2017. While this does seem like bad news overall, there are drastic inventory shortages in the Long Beach Island (LBI) real estate market and this contributes to the lower sales volume. Overall the average price of a single family was higher in 2018 than 2017 so we will have to keep an eye on the market as it develops in 2019.
