The LBI real estate market has changed. While we are starting to see some more activity in 2019, overall sales are still lagging behind those of 2018 and well behind 2017. This is not to at all infer that the Long Beach Island real estate market is in trouble, rather there is a natural slowdown. These shifts in the market are to be expected but both buyers and sellers must understand them and know how to react. Pricing to Sell in the LBI Real Estate Market is always a challenge (if you price too low you may leave money on the table but if you price too high you will deter buyers). The best thing sellers can do is to pay close attention to the developing trends and be realistic.
