LBI Real Estate Weekly Sales Update 11/7/2021-11/14/2021: It was another slower week in the Long Beach Island real estate market, but that is to be expected this time of year. As we enter the holiday season, market activity tends to drop off until after the new year. Still, there were 67 changes to the MLS and a high number of pending sales. To help understand the dynamics of the LBI real estate market for buyers, sellers and investors I publish a weekly sales update for the Long Beach Island real estate market in addition to my monthly analysis of home sales. You can review all the active, pending, sold, and withdrawn listings that are or were for sale on Long Beach Island in the given time frame. To give a quick summary:

  • 13 new listings entered the market with an average price of $2,100,077
  • 19 listings went under contract with an average listing price of about $1,392,416
  • 20 properties sold on Long Beach Island with an average price of $1,218,433
  • 5 listings saw price reductions in the LBI real estate market
