LBI Real Estate Weekly Sales Update 05/01/2022-05/08/2022: Happy Mother’s Day to all the wonderful moms out there! For the second week in a row, there were about 60 changes to the real estate market on Long Beach Island. This is a noticeable uptick from the roughly 30-40 changes we have been seeing in the past several months. You can review all the active, pending, sold, and withdrawn listings that are or were for sale on Long Beach Island in the given time frame. To give a quick summary:
- 17 new listings entered the market with an average price of $1,935,353
- 22 listings went under contract with an average listing price of about $1,637,750
- 11 properties sold on Long Beach Island with an average price of $1,543,909
- 5 listings saw price reductions in the LBI real estate market
